I can report all is well in my W10 1709 64 bits after getting today's Windows updates.

Now, I have to update my W7 32 bits. Hopefully there wont be an issue after updating Sandboxie to 5.23.3 before updating Windows. I ll come back later and report.

As I understand it, you should be fine in W8.1.

To summarize, I can report that both, W10 and W7 with latest Windows updates are working well with Sandboxie 5.23.3.

Just for info:
I've to uninstall SB first and then re-install SB again with the latest SB beta 5.23.3.
Without uninstall older version I got an error message while upgrading the SB installation.

System WIN7 with KB4056894

Why has the size of the sbiectrl and license programs increased so much? For example sbiectrl 782KB to 3451KB is a 300% increase

Due to the huge mess MS created with the C Runtime Libraries in VS 2015, we are now linking them in statically instead of using the DLLs.

I have Win7 64bit, and like all others are unable to use Sandboxie.

I've read just about everything here, and haven't found an answer to this.

If I install the 5.23.3 Beta, will my current Sandboxie settings and sandboxes be deleted/erased? Or, will I be able to run everything I already had like if it was a regular Sandboxie update?

Installing the beta should be fine. I have yet to install it in Windows 7 (since I haven't rebooted this week the updates haven't applied yet) but it's been running fine in Windows 10 this week and so far there's no noticeable change.

You can update over the top. When you run the installer, you ll have two options, choose Overwrite, that option retains your settings.

Your Sandboxie will work fine after the update. You need this update. I done it in W7 and W10, all is beautiful.
