I'm still learning this program and see that there is the capability of adding another Sandboxie rather than using the default listed in Switch Sandboxie.
What is the purpose/benefit of adding more Sandboxie's or opening programs in different Sandboxie's other than the default?
Thx.
Why add additional Sandboxie?
If you think of the Sandboxie sandbox as a simple form of a virtual machine, then multiple sandboxes mean multiple virtual machines.
For example, this post mentions using Sandboxie for a safe online-Quake 3 experience.
Using two sandboxes, a QuakeBox sandbox could collects any Quake resources being downloaded from the net while you play the game.
But at the same time, you may want to do your browsing in the DefaultBox sandbox that is regularly deleted, so having two distinct sandboxes makes that easier to manage.
This is just one example, hopefully more people will provide examples and make this thread a little more interesting.

Hi there.
Sandboxie is working very well for me. Nice work.
I have a question about multiple sandboxes though.
I use the DefaultBox for general surfing, and I'd like to have another one (EmptyBox perhaps) specifically for internet banking.
I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but even though I create the additional sandbox, and then change to it, Firefox still seems to operate in DefaultBox.
I notice that there is no EmptyBox folder created alongside the DefaultBox folder. If I change Firefox's start page in EmptyBox, and then change to DefaultBox, Firefox under DefaultBox is now using the start page I set in EmptyBox.
I hope that all made sense!
Also, if I have EmptyBox as the in-use sandbox, and choose to Explore Contents, I am told "The sandbox is empty. Would you like to explore anyway?" which opens up the top-level sandbox folder where DefaultBox resides.
What I'd like to do is have two completely different Firefox setups, one is DefaultBox and one in EmptyBox.
