Is it possible to install EqualizerAPO ( sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo ) entirely inside of Sandboxie? If so, what settings in Sandboxie would need to be changed?

Yes and No. Yes, it can install just fine in the sandbox. No, I don't think it would function as expected. It might be possible to poke enough holes and alter stuff manually via regedit or other tricks but seeing how the software is designed to be a system-wide thing, I suspect it'd be pointless to try keeping it in a sandbox to start with. A sandbox is meant to isolate the system from applications inside - so if the app is meant to alter something for the system...

It seems like the program would affect system wide audio. If it's only audio that it affects, is it possible to allow it to affect just audio? Or would it have to access everything to affect the audio?

Hello Smith124,

I downloaded the app and it installed inside Sandboxie without issues (Windows 10 x 64 CU + Sbie latest beta).
However, as Syrinx explained, isolating this application inside of a container may not provide the best results (I have not tested it, but you can try and see).

Why do you need to install this app in Sandboxie? What are you trying to do exactly?

Regards,
Barb.-
