I have installed the beta now, my first sandboxie beta. I have choosen the upgrade option. But now everytime i switch to a sandboxed application my keyboard language changes to English.
This is super annoying as it does not change back, I always have to switch to German again.

I dont know if this is a bug at all or just applies to a beta version but I feel like I should report it.
//edit: Just in case of course I've disabled the windows default shortcuts CTRL+SHIFT/ALT+SHIFT

Already done that via Customize>click Title Bar.
The problem is that by choosing Settings >Applications >Accessibility >Screen Readers
there is No Sandboxie name anymore.

To be fair, maybe it is a Firefox 64-bit issue...

424tsiai,

Please read Curt's previous post and use OpenWinClass=SWFlash_PlaceHolderX instead of the screen reader template.

Klausel,

What OS are you using? And how are you switching to your applications?
If you can provide repro steps, I will test them (I have not seen this issue while using Japanese IME ).

Also, please try deleting the contents of your sandbox (or try a new Sandbox) and see if the issue persists.

Regards,
Barb.-

Can you, PLEASE, guide me (step-by-step) in respect with:

OpenWinClass=SWFlash_PlaceHolderX

?

How do I use the above?

424tsiai,

Please disable the screen readers template, close all your Sandboxed apps, then do the following:

In SBIECtrl select Configure --> Edit Configuration
A Notepad file will open
Inside, you will find the [Global Settings], followed by the settings for each of your Sandboxes [DefaultBox] , etc...
Copy OpenWinClass=SWFlash_PlaceHolderX at the end of the [DefaultBox] area (Or at the end of any Sandbox that you want ).
Save, go back to SBie Control and select Configure --> Reload configuration
Test flash.

If you need additional assistance setting this up, do not hesitate to send me a PM.

Regards,
Barb.-

Hello,

I want to report a bug in the current beta (but should exist in previous versions as well).
When trying to recover files from sandbox to out of sandbox, when it is a folder, the recovery fails.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Sandboxie Control
2. In File & Folder view browse to any directory with content in your sandbox and left click on the folder with the content
3. Right click the folder and choose "Recovery in a different path"
4. Choose any path, I've choosen my G:\ drive
5. Sandboxie fails to recover the content of the folder.

LoluJaafJofe,

What OS are you running? And, do you have any AV software installed?
I need those details in order to test this issue.

Thanks.

Could you please provide more details so that I can test this? What do you mean by "incompatible"?
If you can provide your OS, SBIE and AV versions, I'll check it out. Also, are the browsers installed inside the SBIE or outside?

Barb.-

Someone already reported issue with Chrome 55 before at http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 48#p124748. But just in case the sandboxie team forgot about it. Chrome 55 (stable) x64 version couldn't run properly on Sandboxie (also on 5.15.8 ) since it was released almost 2 weeks ago. Tested on W7 64 + SB 5.15.8 + Chrome 55 (64 bit) installed in sandbox. The only way to be able to run chrome 55 (and be able to open any page) inside the sandbox is by disabling Chrome's own sandbox feature.
