Seamonkey is my default browser. I'm using windows 8 64 bit retail, and the latest Sandboxie version 3.76 for 64 bit.
Sandboxie seems to think Internet Explorer is my default browser. How can I change IE to Seamonkey for my default sandboxed browser?
Sandboxie says IE is default browser. Need Seamonkey Win 8

Hi tzuk, Thank you for the reply.
That may help for Firefox, but remember, Seamonkey has a built in mail client. I went ahead and changed the default browser in the control panel anyway per your instructions in the above mentioned post.
These are the errors I'm getting.
SBIE2212 Email reader 'seamonkey.exe' is not configured to run sandboxed
SBIE2212 Email reader 'seamonkey.exe' is not configured to run sandboxed
Clicking the help button and telling Sandboxie to allow this to run does not help.
There is also a popup window that says:
Sandboxie Start
Could not evoke program:
"C\Program Files)x86) SeaMonkey\seamonkey.exe"
System Error Code:
Access denied.
(5)
And an OK button to click to close the window.
The real odd thing is.. if Seamonkey is already running normally, and I open the Sandboxie version of my default browser (Sandboxed Web Browser), Seamonkey will open sandboxed next to my normal running copy, with no error messages.

This was written before Win 8, but it may provide enough information to allow Seamonkey to run for you when sandboxed:

(Basically, see my second post there)
You will want to check that the paths to Seamonkey's files on Win 8 are still what they were for Win 7.
Be sure verify that you don't lose an email if you download it while sandboxed, delete the sandbox contents, and then run Seamonkey unsandboxed - to see that the email is still there.
