Re: I can only give full access to Desktop files. How to giv
Hello Corinarh ,
Please have a look at these:
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?Res ... tings#file
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?OpenFilePath
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?OpenPipePath
Can you normally navigate your folders (outisde SBIE) in Windows Explorer? It seems that you are missing folders (from your screenshot).
What AV software do you use?
Regards,
Barb.-

Full Access to C: and D: for sandboxed programs ?
For all programs, or just specific programs?
Why use Sandboxie at all if you are going to give sandboxed programs unrestricted access to everything on C: and D:, including the"Windows" folder?

Corinarh ,
Please provide the exact issue (plus AV, SBIE version and OS version) that you are experiencing including error messages, so that we can assist.
Are you launching Steam as Admin?

Re: I can only give full access to Desktop files. How to giv
AV = default win10 defender
SBIE = 5.16 64bit
OS = Win 10 64bit
Well it's not kinda error but more like hassle since i want to give steam.exe full access to d:\ drive where steamapps is located so i won't need to copy GBs of data when i run steam+updates of games.
Well it doesn't matter if i run Steam with admin or not, sandboxie always trying to migrate and copy files to separated folder.

Re: I can only give full access to Desktop files. How to giv
Corinarh,
Do you have Steam installed inside Sbie?
Try this in a Sandboxed Steam:
Navigate to Steam -->Settings --> Downloads --> Steam Library Folders
Add the desired folders there.
As for Steam updates, you should run them outside Sandboxie and after they are applied, you can re-launch Steam in a Sandbox.
Can you normally navigate your folders (outisde SBIE) in Windows Explorer? It seems that you are missing folders (from your screenshot).
