Chrome 32/64.

Clicking "don't ask again" does hide the message, but it doesn't allow you to set Chrome as the default when sandboxed. Even though you have it as the default in Windows. Unsure where the problem is, Chrome or otherwise.

This was with Chrome 50.0.2661.102m (32/54)

This doesn't happen in 5.11.7, but that doesn't necessarily mean much at the moment.
With Firefox 46.0.1 (32 bits) too. Beta 5.11.8/Win10 1511 build 10586.318 x64.

Yes, more of an annoyance than anything. The browser(s) work just fine. You can simply dismiss the message for now.

In case it helps in any way, this is also the case with Foxit Reader, but only when run with drop rights.

Hi Henry, I use Foxit portable in XP and W7, I am not getting any kind of message in this systems with 5.11.8 with Drop rights enabled. I guess you are in W10, right?

Drop rights do funny things sometimes. I do get a message in IE in XP that has to do with the search provider if I run IE in a sandbox with Drop rights. If I run it in a sandbox without Drop rights, the message doesnt appear. Is an old annoyance that seems to come and go as new SBIE versions get released. So, when you said that unticking DR solves the message for you, sounds familiar. I told Curt about this a while back but the annoyance is hard to reproduce in this particular case. :)

In Win 10, With Foxit Reader 7.3.0.118 I do not get any prompts. Once It's set as the default PDF viewer in Windows (default is Edge) It's set in the SB as well.
This is under SBIE 5.11.8 w/o touching Drop Rights.

Edit: Tried with PDFCreator as well, same results.

Yes, I am using Win10 and with Foxit 7.3.4.311. Foxit is the default for pdf for Windows, and as I mentioned it is only an issue with drop-rights.

I only noticed the problem recently and it happens every time and it's a nuisance, no more. I only commented as the issue had been raised.

Tested w/64-bit Cyberfox and 64-bit Chrome on 64-bit Windows 10.
Cyberfox browser window is blank.
Chrome's window doesn't even open.
Both work fine unsandboxed.
For what it's worth, 5.11.9 is working for me on my desktop PC - where 5.11.8 did not.

If I run a pdf sandboxed (right-click on pdf, run sandboxed), I get error message SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Manifest Length (524288).

usually it's a problem with the program. What PDF viewer are you using? What happens when you open the pdf program first then the PDF document?
