Games made with Nscripter engine (http://www.nscripter.com/) would crash when running in sandbox.
They don't crash right at the beginning, but crashes when performing some action like save/load game.
I can not provide the game itself but I have one of the crash dump attached.
I've tested more than one games and they all crash at some point. Running them outside sandbox is fine.
EDIT: There's something wrong with your attachment system, I've uploaded crash dump to Google Drive

Re: NScripter games crashes when running in Sandbox
Hello RadarNyan,
Please provide the following information:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19746
Also, please reproduce the issue and paste the output of the Resource Access Monitor. Use the "</>" button to format it in the forum.
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?Res ... essMonitor
This may allow us to see what is Sandboxie trying to interact with at the moment of the crash.
Regarding the games, is there any reason why you need to run them Sandboxed? (Not all games work well inside Sandboxie).
Regards,
Barb.-

Re: NScripter games crashes when running in Sandbox
I'm running Sandboxie 5.20 on Windows 7 SP1 x64. I'm not running any AntiVirus Product.
Which game doesn't matter, at least every single NScripter game I have (I can't provide them though as they're not free, but I'm sure you can find some free/demo game made with Nscripter online) would crash at some point. Even when they don't crash, the game won't render correctly, eg: I'll get something like a empty (black) srceen with text only when there should be a background picture - it seems like the game engine was unable to access some of the resource files. Here's the Resource Monitor output:
(The game is located in a VeraCrypt volume, but I don't think it affacts anything as if I move it to a normal volume it would still crash.)
I run almost all my programs (other than sandboxie apparently) inside individual sandboxes. So I have better control of what the can or can not access, and I can remove them cleanly when I don't want them anymore. If I'm okay with running some program outside sandbox why would I use sandboxie in the first place?

Re: NScripter games crashes when running in Sandbox
Hello RadarNyan,
I am not seeing much in your Res. Acc. Mon, other than it seems to crash right away.
If you could please provide some free demo examples that you know crash, I will be happy to test them.
Have you tried installing the game directly into Sandboxie? Or copying the installation folder inside Sandboxie and running it from there? [Not sure any of these options will work, but they are worth a shot].
If you know where does the game save files to (in case that's causing the crash), you can try opening the path for it:

Sorry if I wasn't clear, my intention is to find out what are you trying to do in order to see if there are any workarounds we can use. As explained before, not all games will work inside Sandboxie.Because I want to! Remember your slogan - "Trust No Program"???
