Software that doesn't work in sandbox

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to build my whole system around sandboxed applications, but I've heard that not all software can be installed in the sandbox. Can you tell me what kind of software is not gonna work in the sandbox?
I mean, except for the obvious software that should be installed on the real OS (drivers, runtimes e.t.c) what characteristics a software must have to not be valid for sandbox operation?
