"Explore Contents" - how does it launch explorer?
I'm a keen user of Directory Opus (a windows file explorer replacement). Its most recent version has functionality that forces any explorer window launched by another application to be opened as a new tab in Directory Opus - very similar to how if you click a hyperlink in an application Firefox can be made to open that page in a new tab in an existing Firefox window rather than launch an entirely new Firefox window.
This seems to work for most applications but I've had no luck in getting the "Explore Contents" command in Sandboxie to follow this feature. The most recent recommendation on the Directory Opus forum was to post a question here asking how Sandboxie launches the new folder when "Explore Contents" is clicked - hopefully the developer can shed some light on what Windows calls are made.
With this information the Directory Opus devs might be able to work out why Sandboxie is getting around this functionality.
Relevant post on the Directory Opus forums: http://resource.dopus.com/viewtopic.php ... sc&start=0 (Sandboxie specific comments towards bottom of first page).
Many thanks,
Jeff

You can tell the Directory Opus developers that Sandboxie does this:
Code: Select all
ShellExecute(hwndofSandboxieControl, L"open", PathToSandboxFolder, NULL, PathToSandboxFolder, SW_SHOWNORMAL);

Well i know im not cookie, but im still gonna post it anyway, after cookie gave that to the directory opus dev's, one of the dev responded with:
Apparently, thats the problem........The L"open" should be NULL (ie, they should not be specifying an action, but instead should be asking for the default action)
