New Chrome extensions not showing in Sandboxie [SOLVED]

Post by TrueNDiary » Thu Jan 05, 2017 6:00 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm facing a problem with installing new extensions into Sandboxie.
I've installed an add-on called "Imagus" in a regular chrome, but when I'm opening the browser with sandboxie it
doesn't show up, in fact I don't think sandboxie knows that there is a new extension that need to work.
I've also tried to enable "Allow direct access to entire Google Chrome profile folder" which worked
BUT then Internet Download Manager Integration stop to download files.

Is there a fix to this issue?

Windows 10 64Bit
SandBoxie 5.16 (64-Bit)

Hello TrueNDiary,

I just downloaded Imagus , then ran Chrome Sandboxed and the extension loaded up fine in Sbie.
Can you please double check that the extension is showing up correctly in a non-sandboxed Chrome, then try again ?
Also, please be sure to delete the contents of your Sandbox and/or create a new one for testing purposes.

Do you have any other extensions installed? Any toolbars or AV software?

Regards,
Barb.-

I've manage to fix my issue by using CCleaner and check the sandboxie under utilities like in this pic:

I guess it had something to do with the contents of my sbie as you've mentioned.

Thank you very much @Barb
