...webs I've found. Hello. I don't understand a word of it, but they appear to be sandboxie-like stuff. Brief explannation appreciated!.

Application-level Virtualization for windows:

Is it there any 'virtual' software to improve Sandboxie performance or 'isolation'? Especially concerning Windows Installer.
Since it's my first ever post I hope this is not a pest for readers.
A wise one maybe would like to review these...
I'm afraid i can't be too specific since I don't understand much of what they say in the articles. What Isniff:
- Sandboxie is just covering some level of protection. What are we missing then?. Otherwise, can we easily join Sandboxie with some other software for better performance? The box inside the box...
- They talk much about virtualization, one of the pricinples of any sandbox, I guess. So, a few tips would help, especially concerning virtual features of this program.
-A straight one: simple explanation for Application-level Virtualization.
- i also won't understand why sanboxes are sometimes catalogued as security software and some others like virtual machines?
- I use Sandboxie for private software testing, a few tips on this also aprrecciated (msiexec).
More than enough by now. Just link me to anywhere if you feel like this is nonsense or too vague.
Thanks

No I did not read the FAQs, my mistake.
Just thought it was Licensing stuff but I skipped Technical matters. I'll read them carefully, thanks tzuk. Anyway I suggest to keep the opening post links for a while, just in case...
Esteemed TzuK:
I have been reading your faq's, under technical stuff. I was impressed. I have extracted a few phrases. Only for your eyes:
The author of this software must assume you are already familiar with the basic organization of the Registry.
The Windows Registry:
- Centralized storage database for applications and system.
- Stored amount which stays in values and data organized inside keys, in a similar way that files are sorted in directories.
- It's midway in between the body of configuration items that hold placed data: system variables, installed applications' items, user preferences, hardware device configuration, &c.
- In a sense, the Registry is a cornerstone of Windows OS and, de facto, is present in all operations involving OS manage; however, the structure, storing system and management may differ.
Whenever a program developer considers to store his own application's settings and options, he turns his attention to the Registry, the natural inventory for this kind of data.
Hint: you can find lots of useful information related to Registry here.
