Spysweeper & Zone Alarm with Microsoft Updates - Windows
I had my computer working fine with an older version of Sandboxie, Zone Alarm 6, Spysweeper, Spyware Doctor and NOD32 and my windows updates stopped working so I thought it would be a good idea to reinstall windows and update all my software. I installed windows xp and all the updates then all the rest of the software, the first thing I found out was that Spysweeper 5.5 and Sandboxie 3 are definatly allergic to each other. So I uninstalled Spysweeper. Then I had problems more minor but still problems with Spyware Doctor but learned that turning off the "on guard protection" solves that and then things were working fine for a session and reboot or two until the Windows B.L.O.D. started coming up with an error Ill post on the bottom of this. Every time I would load a sandboxed program for the first time it would work fine but the second time I would load it the BLOD would come on and I had to restart windows. This also happened when I tried to delete the sandbox through the Sandboxie program under "contents of sandbox" but after successfully deleting the sandbox with windows explorer I could load a sandboxed program but only once. I would have to delete it again before running it sandboxed or BLOD would end my fun. I have spent quite a bit of time and stress trying to figure this out and I dont want to get rid of Sandboxie but so far it dont look good. If anyone has any solutions to this I would love to hear it. Thanks for reading this.

Honestly, i doubt this is a problem with sandboxie, my guess would be its something wrong with your windows installation (your ntfs.sys file in particular), sandboxie is just triggering it, check this page and see if anything helps http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... us;Q228888
Windows 7 SP1 x64, Sandboxie v3.70 x64 with Experimental Protection, GnuPG, OTR (Off-The-Record), Sticky Password, My Brain.
Its not Zone Alarm 7

Thanks for the reply but its not Zone Alarm 7 by the way it is the newest release. One of the older versions of Sandboxie did not work with Zone Alarm 7 but worked well with Zone Alarm 6. I am thinking its a microsoft update I just wish I new which one.

I may have found the problem
SnDPhoenix wrote:Have you tried running a simple Chkdsk?
I have not ran Chkdsk and I installed .05 erlier, I was running .04. I will install Spysweeper when I get a chance, thanks for the info.SnDPhoenix wrote:oh btw, do you have .05 installed? .05 is reported to work fine with SpySweeper.
I may have found the problem of this, I believe it is Drive Sentry I uninstalled it and now things are working fine. I did not add it to my first post because I used to use it with sandbox before with no problems. This has only been going well for a little while now and I hope it stays that way. I will add another post if a problem occurs. Thank you for all your assistance.
P.S. I read your post on "Spacetime" I have not tried it but it looks interesting when I get everything figured out on my comp I will probably download it and check it out.

Now if I can only figure out what the deal is with "Spyware Doctors" "On Guard" I think Ill start a new topic on it.
