Error in Sandboxie Sandbox Settings: Restrictions-Network

One of my PCs, when I open the Sandbox settings and look at Restrictions, does not show the Network menu. Instead, it shows
* err=00000f73 ....str1= ...str2=
* err=00000f74 ....str1= ...str2=
* err=00000f75 ....str1= ...str2=
* err=00000f76 ....str1= ...str2=

Out of 6 PCs, two have Norton. The other PC with Norton does not have this problem.
The browser (sandboxed in Sandboxie) on this PC was "attacked" about 2 weeks ago.
I reviewed the Sandboxie.ini file for both PCs with Norton and did not find anything notable.

Anyone have suggestions on what is causing this and how to fix it?

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, up to date
Sandboxie 5.14 64-bit
AV: Norton Security. Up to date (no issues observed to date. I don't use Identity Safe nor Safe Surfing
CryptoPrevent
Chrome 54.0.2840.71 m (64-bit)

Can you try running Firefox in a new default settings sandbox.


You can create one in: Sandboxie control>Sandbox>Create new sandbox. Dont copy settings from existing sandboxes.


Also, can you send us the version of Sandboxie and windows that you are using?

I created a new sandbox and I did not copy settings from the DefaultBox. The problem also occurred in the new sandbox.

Windows 10 64-bit, 10586.633. I defer Windows 10 upgrades
Sandboxie 5.14 64-bit

The perplexing thing is that out of our 6 PCs, this PC is the only one with this specific problem.

What do you think? Anything else to try? Thank you:)

Your SbieMsg.dll file is out of synch. You can either reinstall Sbie or copy SbieMsg.dll from a working machine.

Replacing the SbieMsg.dll file from a working instance fixed it. Thank you:)
