Flag for identifying sandboxed programs in Windows taskbar

Post by ktchong » Sun Aug 23, 2015 8:43 am

So I am running two Firefox. One in the sandbox, (earning points at a reward website by running videos in the background.) The other outside the sandbox doing something else, (for example, installing/uninstalling extensions.) Occasionally I launch a game or another program. (Yes, I have a short attention span.) The two Firefox instances appear side-by-side in the Windows taskbar. They look exactly the same in the taskbar. Maybe Sandboxie can put a little tiny flag on the upper-left or upper-right corner of a sandboxed program in the taskbar. So users can look at the taskbar and immediately know which is which - i.e., which programs are sandboxed, and which one are not.
