It's ok, don't worry about this wraithdu.wraithdu wrote:I have no wish to create such a stir with moving licenses about. If this keeps up I wouldn't blame tzuk for asking me to end this project! Neither I nor anyone else wants that I'm sure.

I don't think that's the way wraithdu coded that anyway.. when I tried the portable on my machine with a local install, the launcher checked if the driver was installed and shut down when it found it... and my Sandboxie isn't installed to the folder you mentioned as my system drive is d:emider wrote:a small sugestion
to check if sandboxie is alredy installed instead of checking the path 'c:\program files\sandboxie'
Actually (turns out) I did. The folder location was my first thought, but too unreliable to be the only check. The reg location was another idea, but I think that might be different on Vista, not sure. I ended up checking the installation of the service and driver. If either one is found installed, note that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be running, the launcher will abort.R.A.W. wrote:I don't think that's the way wraithdu coded that anyway..

Create the folder C:\program files\sandboxie on a comp. wthout sbie and run sandboxieportable.exe and see what happends. It refuses to start because the folder exist(no matter the folder is empty or not)R.A.W. wrote:I don't think that's the way wraithdu coded that anyway.. when I tried the portable on my machine with a local install, the launcher checked if the driver was installed and shut down when it found it... and my Sandboxie isn't installed to the folder you mentioned as my system drive is d:
