browser sandbox - misc sandbox

Post by questionmrjohnny » Mon Sep 24, 2007 7:23 pm

i dont think this feature is in sandboxie but if it is im sorry. what i would like is to have 2 sandboxes. 1 for my browser[firefox] and the other for misc. uses. it would open my default browser always in the same sandbox so i could keep my bookmarks and passwords and history. and the other box for when i test software, i hate that whenever i test bad software i have to delete the whole sandbox[passwords and all] to get rid of it.

Yes, this is possible, but only in the registered version of Sandboxie......
Windows 7 SP1 x64, Sandboxie v3.70 x64 with Experimental Protection, GnuPG, OTR (Off-The-Record), Sticky Password, My Brain.

Actually unless I'm mistaken this is possible also in the unregistered version. What you cannot do unless you register is run processes in two different samdboxes at the same time or have Sandboxie automatically capture a process to run in a certain sandbox.

But you can (could earlier at least) have more than one sandbox and switch between them using the unregistered version.
