Re: No Reaction on Weblinks in sandboxed programs
Hi MarcosM,
Have you set Firefox as your default browser in Windows 10?
(Search for "Default app settings" and ensure that Firefox is listed under Web Browser")
Do you have any security applications installed?
Do browsers work if you try to launch them Sandboxed ?
Can you provide an example with repro steps so that I can test the scenario?
One more thing, please re-test in a new Sandbox with default settings
Sandbox--> Create New Sandbox
Regards,
Barb.-

Re: No Reaction on Weblinks in sandboxed programs
Hi
Yes i setup Firefox as Default Browser. The only one that i installed on my machine is antivirus software. But it doesnt work too, when i disable the antivirus software.
The sandboxed Webbrowser works without issues when i start it.
For example i installed the Telegram Messenger Software on it. It works, but if i klick on a weblink, nothing happens.
I tried it too with a new sandbox and default settings. But the same issue
----------------MERGED POST -----------------------
Now i could resolve a part of my issue.
The default browser was Edge. Is this softwate not compatible with edge browser?
OK, i setup the Internet Explorer 11 as default browser and now i can open the links.
But one thing that not work are the windows desktop notification from the sandboxed messenger app.
How can i resolve it?
Thanks

Re: Unable to open hyperlinks in Telegram Desktop
Hi MarcosM,
Edge and metro apps are not supported:
https://www.sandboxie.com/KnownConflicts#Windows%2010
Regarding the notifications, I tested Telegram Desktop (I am assuming this is what you are using?) and I was able to get notifications as long as the program was minimized. I had to use 2 virtual machines to test, and 2 different numbers as it would not let me multi session from different computers.
What are your notification settings?

OK, that means Edge doesnt work. OK
With the Notification i mean the Microsoft Default Notifications that you can find under Info-Center in Wndows 10.
This default Windows Notifications doesnt work.
Any idea how i can use it? A lot of programs and tools use the default microsoft notifications.
