i use it on both computers for 1-2 years now, i wanted to buy a lifetime (although i dont need it, it was more of a thank you) and then i see it was disabled.
and 30 euro/year.. well, sorry but its too much imo.

anyway great program, so i will thank the developer here instead.

I have to agree, I was also considering buying, but I think the 15 EURO per pc per year is too much. Why not go for a scheme like this for example

1 Pc 1 Year 15 Eur
1 Pc 3 Years 25 Eur
2 Pc 1 Year 20 Eur
2 PC 3 Years 35 Eur

I can see that some people are disappointed with the new licensing terms and prices.
I am afraid all I can say is that I am sorry but the new prices are going to remain in effect.

Thanks tzuk.

It's also a bit of my own fault as I was planning on buying last week, but didn't get around it.

tzuk: Why did not you write about the change you had on mind one month before you made the change?

I agree with this, although I would have said a week rather than a month. This would have shown respect for those who visit your forum frequently.

I can see dropping the lifetime license from your business model, but the change of the annual license to one PC from many is quite harsh in my opinion. It seems like the intent is to reduce customers rather than gather them.

Sandboxie is a fine product and I do hope this sudden change in pricing does not hinder future development.

Considering that what's done is done, why do you write this to tzuk now, other than to find fault?
If someone has not done a thing as well as it could have been done, are you the bigger person for pointing that out, or for accepting it?

You wanted to buy a license, although you didn't need it, but then you said it's too much.
Hmmm. Doesn't make sense to me.
If you didn't need it, why does it matter how long it lasts?

How or why folks who have had firsthand experience with this amazing software over the years and still found a rationalization or an excuse not to buy a lifetime license for it during the several years it was available is beyond me.

If there is blame to be assigned, look no further than your bathroom mirror to find the culprit.

My thirty day trial ran out the ninth of October. I went to buy a licence and the Lifetime that i could have sworn I saw for multiple computers wasnt there. Very confused. Little digging reveals it was removed THE DAY BEFORE.

I could cry.

So I guess the question is - can you make due with the free version?

Agreed a multi year/PC license option would be the next best thing to a lifetime license. Much like Hitman Pro's subscription plans. 8)
Although I always suspected this was going to happen eventually and it was a longtime coming, but on the other hand I suppose this is just another sign of how much SBIE has growing over the last few years. :)

I would have paid double, nay, triple for that original lifetime license. But I have three (lost and forgotten the first one). ;)
