I just gave Sandboxie a try and it's really the countermeasure for my username...
... however my daily 'bread and butter' program doesn't work atm. It's JPSoft's popular command line extension, formerly known as 4dos or 4nt. Many people run this for their daily Unix-like shell navigation or depend on a huge base of 4dos/4nt/tcc-based batch scripts. Get the free TCC/LE version or a trial for the full "Take Command" here: https://jpsoft.com/all-downloads/downloads.html
I'm running Win10 x64, and the error message is...
SBIE2303 Could not hook NtQueryObject (888)
SBIE2304 Initialization failed for process tcc.exe
Since the bare cmd.exe and even Cygwin's bash runs just fine, I hope it's in the scope of your workload to get TCC running - pretty please with sugar on it ?

Re: Bug/Request: JPSoft TCC / Take Command
What version of Sandboxie?
What OS?
There are some posts here about Take Command http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... nd#p116570
You also may need to configure SBIE to allow the program to access the registry. By default, in a sandbox..that's not permitted.
It also injects .dll into Windows. I can see that being an issue. This is one of the main reasons Kaspersky doesn't work. It injects and hooks into areas that SBIE needs to be. There is not work around for that. https://jpsoft.com/support/faq.html
