Wild ideas

It has been a wild day so here are a couple of wild ideas that may not be practical.

1) "Clone Sandbox"
Problem:
Right now if you are working in a "test environment" sandbox and something "goes wrong" (virus, badware, etc ...) you can wipe out the box and your system is safe (YEA!) but then you need to create a new sandbox and setup your "test environment" again.
Work Around:
Make a copy of the "test environment" sandbox by going to the %SANDBOX% folder outside of SBIE, find the sandbox by name and rt.click -> copy -> paste.
To "restore" the "clean" sandbox just delete the bad sandbox in %SANDBOX% while SBIE is closed then copy the "clean" version to the same sandbox name.
Fix:
Allow for "Clone Sandbox" in addition to "Create New Sandbox"


2) Sandboxed Desktops (This one may be WAY over the top)
Problem:
The desktop is not sandboxable (I may be wrong).
Work Around:
Sandbox one of the "multiple desktop" apps??? (have not tried)
Solution:
"Run New Desktop" (one per sandbox of course).

Well I like the suggestions, though the clone sandbox thing has been brought up before and tzuk has never really cared for it. Maybe that will change?

The sandboxed desktops is something me and street tried and it just wouldn't work, we had to use shell replacements to get it to work and it wasn't really worth it. So I dont know if tzuk is going to want to go through the trouble of trying to get this to work or not...

I see the point with trying to clone a multi-GB box.

I guess it would be quite difficult to actually run a sandbox on top of another sandbox to achieve the same effect?
