downloads not sandboxed

I see the yellow border around Chrome. And the downloads seem to be going into the right folder
C:\Sandbox\USERNAME\Chrome_USERNAME\user\current\Downloads
But the downloaded files do not show in SBIE Control. And when I browse to them through regular Windows Explorer, and I open them, they are not sandboxed.

shmu, downloads are not supposed to show up in Sandboxie control.

Make sure the Downloads folder is set as a Forced folder, so when you recover downloads out of the sandbox, they run sandboxed automatically when executed.

Are you saying that I shouldn't see any downloads listed in Sbie Control/Show Window/Quick Recovery folders/ downloads?
I do, they wait there until I close browser and then ask to be recovered.
Sometimes in that folder I right-click on them and select 'recover to same folder' (my downloads folder) where I can scan and use Sandboxed without closing my browser.

Yeah, also I thought that the behavior described by @opera is the default behavior.

But in any case, I added C:\Sandbox\USERNAME\Chrome_USERNAME\user\current\Downloads
to forced folders.
There is an MP4 file in there, I tried opening it in Windows Media Player, and it opened without yellow border. (The same is true when I opened it in the default Windows 10 app, but that is normal, as far as I know, because SBIE does not virtualize metro Apps, AFAIK.)

I thought he meant, seeing downloads immediately after opening Sandboxie control.

Thats normal. Windows media player dont work too well with Forced folders. If WMP is your default video player or if you use it sometimes, you should make it a Forced program.

Shmu, that's not the folder you want to make a Forced folder. The Downloads folder you want to force is the one where you recover files/downloads out of the sandbox.

I Quick recover differently. I never open Sandboxie control. I right click the icon, hover the browser over the sandbox, and click Quick recovery.:)
