Sandboxie not saving passwords on Opera closure [SOLVED]

I have just had solved SBxie not saving bookmarks on Opera browser closure, now I have discovered that new passwords are not being saved on closure of a sandboxed Opera.

Bearing in mind the simple settings fix applied in File Direct Access for bookmarks, which works fine, would somebody kindly advise a similar fix for saving new passwords.

Do you think that the following would fix it ?

opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\*\Passwords*

I do not use the opera browser. After a quick search, it seems that opera stores the passwords in the "login data" file (similar to chrome).
Check if you can find the "Login Date" file the appdata directory.

So you could use:
OpenFilePath=opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\*\Login Data*

The problem is not Opera. With an unsandboxed Opera, the new passwords stay. With a sandboxed Opera, on browser closure the new passwords are lost. The problem is with Sandboxie.

Opera is fine, no problems. Using Sandboxie/Opera, new passwords created are not shown in Opera when the Sandboxie/Opera session has been shut down. That means the problem is with Sandboxie not Opera. This problem is identical to the same trouble I had with lost bookmarks, recently solved in an earlier thread on this Forum.

All data in the sandbox is deleted on closure, so if Sandboxie is not configured to allow session changes like new bookmarks or passwords to leave the sandbox on closure, they are deleted and Opera does not get them.

The fix I have shown is identical to the successful bookmarks fix that solved missing new boomarks.

I tested the solution proposed by Bertus and it worked fine. It doesn't work for you?
Just add (like you added before):
opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\*\Login Data*

If you want full access to Opera's profile, so that everything you do in Opera is saved directly to your host (not recommended), try adding this instead:
opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\*

Thank you Barb, you are so helpful. I have done what you said and no doubt it will no work. I will register on a new Forum and see if the password data gets stored in the unsandboxed Opera on Sandboxie/opera closure.
I am really grateful for your time and help.

The first tweak, provided by Bertus, only allows passwords to be stored (which is what you asked for).

However, since this is the second thread you create regarding Opera, it seems that you are trying to give it full access to your host. My suggestion should allow you to achieve that.
If you do not want to use it, you can go back to the File Restriction section , use the dropdown to select opera.exe and highlight and remove the ones you do not want to use .

It is quite simple.
Sandboxie was deleting new bookmarks so that Opera never received them. Problem solved in other thread, all is now OK.
All my Forums and sites are stored as bookmarks - the Sandboxie Forum is a bookmark.
It is no use having a Forum when the login data is missing, hence my question about missing login data/passwords, which are being deleted by Sandboxie as were the bookmarks.

Beyond loss of bookmarks and login/password data I have no intention of interfering with anything else of Opera's.

Latest - I entered the two fixes opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\*\Login Data* and opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\* , joined a new Forum and closed the session. The new Forum showed in Opera (bookmarks) and also the login/password data had come through OK. So your latest fixes for login data/passwords as shown in the above posts has worked OK just like the bookmarks issue did.

Everything now OK and I must thank you again Barb for your very constructive help and also the others who contributed.
Problems now all solved.
