Thanks for the help! I happened to re-install/repair the install of Bitdefender Free, reboot, and now 5.05.1 appears to be functioning as expected (I've launched Chrome and a couple app installs so far).Craig@Invincea wrote:Yes, remove BitDefender. Until Yesterday, the free version wasn't even compatible with Win 10. It's not known to work with SBIE and Win10. Sure. I'm going to test some more with BitDefender now that the free version supports Win10...Maybe we can get them all to cooperate.?!?

Well, it's good to see that I'm not alone... I guess. I have tried disabling all plug-ins, but it didn't solve the problem. Is there a log or something I can send to help diagnose? I find myself surfing unsandboxed more and more because it's such an unpleasant experience.

I'm still too stupid to figure out how the fix to-
"Could not hook PowerSettingRegisterNotification (1)
cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (-1)"
-works. its still a plague to me because, as i said, I'm not savvy enough to figure out how to delete whatever it is i need to.

More info is needed:SherlockShpee wrote:I'm still too stupid to figure out how the fix to-

This depends on what Windows OS you are using? Any Antivirus or Antimalware installed?
The -1 error, while more rare now, doesn't have a permanent fix. As it's machine hardware dependent.

Usually, If you've have removed AVG and you're seeing Chrome / or other browsers crash, it's best to remove Chrome and reinstall. Sometimes those AV programs, when removed, leave some things behind...especially if you had AVG installed fully with all options enabled.

I didn't remove AVG, I added Sandboxie to its exceptions.Craig@Invincea wrote:Usually, If you've have removed AVG and you're seeing Chrome / or other browsers crash, it's best to remove Chrome and reinstall. I would then suggest a fresh Chrome install, in the past this has resolved issues with Chrome.

Can i use any Beta version at window 10 ?
Re: 5.05 Beta Available (latest version 5.05.1)
Just updated Windows 8.1 with the latest patches from Tuesday (10/13) and I'm getting this error when attempting to start Chrome in Sandboxie:
Update: This is also happening with Firefox but I seem to only get the error when going to a webpage that has flash. When I went to https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ in Firefox it gave the above error and then reset my PC. So far I have not been able to replicate the issue with IE.
This is not happening with Firefox or IE.SBIE1222 Error with security token: [C0000061 / 33]

I'm a newbie, I've tried loading Beta 5.05 as Sandboxie wasn't working with Firefox, but still no joy.
Some of you seem to have it working - any clues as to what I amy be doing wrong?
