Blue screen

Post by laclac1 » Sun Jun 14, 2015 4:46 pm

Hi,

Since the 4.18 version, I have often a blue screen when I launch a program in a sandboxe.
I have the error SbieDrv.sys and my computer reboot.
I reinstall sandboxie but without improvement.

Thank you

I did have this issue before as well. For me it was related to Outpost Firewall Pro, having that exact driver name, too. Maybe something got overwritten there?

Hi,

I uninstalled Sandboxie and comodo.
I reinstall Sandboxie 4.20
But When I launch Sandboxie, I still the blue screen (1times on 2).
The message is a problem with the driver..

It's very boring :'(

SBIE uses the driver installed on your computer. It does not have its "own driver"

Do you have a Windows crash dump from the BSOD that we can look at?

Thanks for the dump file, we will take a look.
Do you happen to have any Anti-virus programs or anti-malware related?

Does SBIE work without the installation of comodo AV? It's def a driver issues going on. I wonder if Comodo is occupying it.

Hi Craig

Thank you for your reply.
I use Gdata Antivirus and Spybot but without the real time enable.

My history:
- I had Sandboxie 4.17 and Comodo firewall. All worked
- I updated sandboxie by 4.18 > After I had the crashs
- I uninstall and reinstall sandboxie 4.18 > Not better
- I uninstall Comodo and sandboxie
- I install 4.20 but I have always the problem :'(

For information, I tested with your fix in the beta, 5.01.3 during 2 weeks. I don't see the problem now :) Thank you
