I'd like Sandboxie to be configured in my notebook exactly the way it is in my desktop PC. If I copy and paste the complete text from my PC to the notebook, will there be the option to overwrite and replace the whole folder or will there be a whole bunch of duplicate files? Thank You!
In retrospect, should I just copy that whole file to the Sandboxie Program folder?
Copying the Configuration .ini question!

This is best done by someone who is experienced with Sandboxie's configuration settings, so be forewarned:
Sandboxie should first be installed onto each computer, never by copying folders from one computer to the other.
Sandboxie's configuration file is what determines what sandboxes are created, what Recovery Folders are used, how each program running sandboxed is given access to the real world, etc. The "sandboxie.ini" configuration file is located in the Windows folder, by default. It's not in the Sandboxie program folder, unless you moved it.
You could copy sections of the sandboxie.ini file from the desktop computer to the notebook computer, such as the [DefaultBox] section, but you should make sure that the hard drive paths listed in the desktop's sandboxie.ini file also exist on the notebook pc. Also, are the programs that are configured in the desktop's configuration file also installed on the notebook, and in the same relative locations? If the paths listed in every section of the desktop pc's sandboxie.ini file also exist on the notebook pc, you could copy the entire sandboxie.ini file from the desktop to the notebook pc, but note the following:
It's not likely that the section titled [UserSettings_xxxxxxxx] from the desktop pc would be used by the notebook pc.
It is likely that the notebook pc would ignore that section as copied from the desktop's .ini file, and continue using the [UserSettings_...] section that's already in the notebook's sandboxie.ini file - so leave that one section untouched, in the notebook pc's sandboxie.ini file.
After any manual modification to the notebook's sandboxie.ini file, you must Reload Configuration - double-click the sandboxie tray icon on the notebook pc, then choose: Configure | Reload Configuration, to put those changes into effect - or reboot. I would choose the Reload Configuration method, to see if there are any error messages generated.
Plus, you may want to make a copy of the notebook's sandboxie.ini file before you modify it.
