possible to sandbox steam with Team Fortress 2 pre-install?

Got it - it works.

The only settings I had to adjust was under Settings > Resource Access > File Access > Full Access > Add. Then just select the source folder (D:\steamapps for me).

Oh, and also had to uncheck the "drop rights" box to allow it the admin privileges to run the installer. After that drop rights can be resumed.

just to confirm, you're able to INSTALL steam inside a sandbox?

re drop rights.. if i'm already an admin is that needed?
