How do you clear Sandbox data and/or delete cookies in a San

How do you clear Sandbox data and/or delete cookies in a Sandboxed browser???

When it comes to clearing the cache in any of the 5 web browsers that I use I can clear their caches in my sleep. But I can't do it in Sandox because I don't know how. When giving step-by-step instructions please use the > symbol. For example, to clear the cache in Firefox go to >Tools >Clear Recent History and then click on >Clear Now. And that, my friend, was a step-by-step instructional on how to clear Firefox of any and all tracking cookies.

BTW, not sure if I'm using the proper terminology. Perhaps I should say that 1) I ALWAYS like to keep tracking cookies out of my browser, that's my goal and 2) I keep getting Sandbox pop-ups on a constant basis that says something like "You Should Clear Sandboxie" or something like that - and that is something that I don't have a clue as how to do. Maybe those are 2 different functionalities??? I don't know, I'm still learning how to use Sandboxie. And yes, I run Sandboxie in almost all of my browsers.

Browser cache files are not written outside of the sandbox by default, unless you use some Sandbox Setting that allows it.
Things like bookmarks (favorites), cookies, passwords, history, etc can be allowed out of the sandbox, using:
Sandbox Settings > Applications > Web Browser > (browser name) > select the items
If the browser has a setting to "allow direct access to entire profile folder" and you use it, then for some browsers you will also be allowing the cache files to be saved out of the sandbox.
That's what you do not want to happen.

Once you make your selections for the items that you do want to be saved out of the sandbox, then deleting the contents of the sandbox will delete the cache files, since they are trapped inside of the sandbox.
That will also get rid of the message you are receiving, since deleting the sandbox contents is the best way to get rid of any junk that you don't want any more.
If you do not delete the contents of the sandbox after using the browser, then all of the files in that sandbox will be used again the next time you run it sandboxed.
There's a manual Delete Contents, and there's an automatic Delete Contents in Sandbox Settings.

The same thing goes for cookies. They will not be saved outside of the sandbox unless you allow it.
Otherwise the cookies will be deleted when the sandbox contents are deleted, and the only cookies that will remain are those that are already outside of the sandbox.

One thing about Firefox browsing history (not cache files). Since Firefox saves bookmarks and browsing history in the same database file, if you select to save bookmarks out of the sandbox, you will also save history out of the sandbox.
So set the UNsandboxed Firefox to save or delete the browsing history, as you wish, and then only the bookmark data will remain in the places.sqlite file - outside of the sandbox (assuming that you do allow bookmarks to be saved outside).

I went to the Sandboxie tool bar and I did not see a manual Delete Contents function nor did I see an automatic Delete Contents function. Can some tell me/us where it is? If it's not in the toolbar where is the DC function hiding? When giving step-by-step instructions please use the easy to follow > symbol. For automatic delete.
http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?DeleteSandbox
You can set your sandbox to be deleted when it closes.
SBIE Control>Sandbox>Default Box>Sandbox Settings>Delete>Delete Invocation
Choose to automatically delete contents.

For manual deletion, you can do it in two different ways.
SBIE Control>Sandbox>Default Box>Delete contents
http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?SandboxMenu
or using the tray icon, which is how I do it.
Right click on the tray icon>Default Box>Delete contents
http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?TrayIconMenu
