Netflix error while sandboxed

Has anyone seen this error or have any ideas how to fix this? This error started when I updated Firefox to version 50. When I updated Firefox I did it outside the sandbox and Netflix runs fine under Firefox outside Sandboxie. IE + Netfilx works fine sandboxed.

Windows 7 32 bit
SBIE V 5.14 (32 bit)
Firefox 50.0
AV: F-Secure

Hello scootz99,

Have you deleted the contents of your Sandbox after the update? If not, give that a try please.
If you are using Firefox x64, try the 32 bits version .

I do not have Netflix access to test the site, but have a look at this:

Hi Barb, thanks for the reply.

Yes the first thing I did was dump the sandbox. I then did follow the instruction from Netflix and that didn't help either. The next thing I tried was creating a new sandbox and linking Firefox to that sandbox without success. The strange part is that Netflix + Firefox works outside the sandbox fine.

I have the exact same issue with Firefox 50 32-bit, Netflix videos will only play when FF is unsandboxed. Reinstalling the CDMs didn't help either.

Windows 7 with Sandboxie 5.14 64-bit.

I was having the same exact problem while FF was sandboxed. I was using windows 7 64 bit SBIE 5.14 64 bit and FF 50.
what I managed to do to remedy the problem was switch FF back to version 48 64 bit. Now everything works and plays normally in the sandbox.

I can confirm this exact issue (same error code as in scootz99's screenshot).

Config: SBIE 5.16, FFX 50.1 (64 Bit, multiprocess enabled), Windows 10 (64 Bit).

I can also confirm this. I recently set up a browser and box just for NetFlix on my system and spent almost an entire day trying various things but just could not get it to work with firefox sandboxed. It doesn't happen with chrome sandboxed so I've been using that instead. :roll:

For what's its worth also won't work Firefox 50 sandboxie 51.6 windows 7 (hangs), however does work with same firefox and sanboxie under xp sp3

It's now December 2017 and still can't get Netflix to work Sandboxed with Firefox 57.02. I'm using Windows 10 Pro, Fall Creators 64bit. Is there any progress with the debugging for his problem issue?
