Remember me

Post by bjm » Wed Jun 14, 2017 2:19 pm

Hello
How may I achieve 'Remember me' when logging in for longer than browser session, longer than about an hour.
I only find three forums.sandboxie.com cookies which are not persistent cookies.
Where is 'Remember me' persistent cookie.

Is there a way to hold Sandboxie login credentials, hold Forum login thru cookie.

Yes, I've cleared all history & cookies & cache and tried from scratch several times.
Yes, I've tried login outside sandbox and do not delete cookies when I close Firefox.

Holding login state thru cookies works for me on other Forums.

Thanks

Hello bjm,

Currently, forum sessions are set up to expire after 3600 seconds.
Remember me should allow the site to remember your credentials for next time (as long as you don't delete the contents).

What browser are you using?

Regards,
Barb.-

Hello Barb@
Well, your "3600 seconds" agrees with my "about an hour".
Firefox is my daily browser.

I'd like "Remember me" to hold login longer than 3600 seconds.
Just me. Just saying.

At time of this message 7:43PM....three 'forums.sandboxie.com' phpbb3_ngcvs cookies = Expires: June 14, 2018, 7:37:53 PM

No biggy. Some Forum platforms allow holding persistent login, same as some Forum platforms allow xx hours message Edit time.

So, "Remember me" = 3600 seconds... is what it is, and not just me.

Thanks

Hello bjm ,

We will consider your request for the future.
Right now, we are not planning on changing the expiration settings.

Regards,
Barb.-
