I"m trying to download programs while in a sandboxied browser. I right click on the .exe file and select run sandboxed. Then I get a notification on my computer that sandboxie wants permission to make changes to my device.
If I grant Sandboxie permission to make these changes will they be permanent or will they be gone when I delete the sandbox? And does this mean that the .exe file I'm running will make permanent changes to my computer even though I selected 'run sandboxed'?
Thank you.
Allow Sandboxie to make changes to device?

Hello nooby1 ,
The message that you are receiving is most likely the UAC prompt, which is normal and does not mean that Sandboxie is making changes to your host directly.
Here's a related thread:

Sandboxed applications cannot make changes to your host machine (unless you specifically add it in the configuration).
