Temporary Allow....

Post by swaoamit » Wed Aug 31, 2011 11:34 am

Hi Guys,
I am using latest Sandboxie 3.58 (32 bit) on Windows XP SP3 mainly for Web Browsing with FF 6.

I am wondering (?), Is there any way to Temporary Allow prohibited actions like Restrictions on Start/Run and Internet Access for particular session and then Auto Revert original settings ?

i.e., I only allow FF6, plugin container.exe and java.exe to Start/Run as well as Internet Access and Auto Delete Option is on in my Private Sandbox.
But sometime I need to Start/Run some other Programs inside Private Sandbox which I don't Trust.
Then, I am getting SBIE 1308 message and I have to allow it through SBIE 2222 message.
So, I am wondering that when any Restricted Program try to Run or trying to connect to Internet, instead of showing
SBIE 1308 & SBIE 1307 just give an option to user to allow it Temporary but do not modify original settings of particular sandbox.

Is that Possible?

Thanks !

Removed message- no longer relevant.
A great deal of extra text has been added to the original post.

If it's just reverting to a slightly older version, just install that older version over the version you have now.
No uninstall is required to go back from 3.58 to 3.56, as an example.
If you need to download an older version:

Sorry mate, I just edited my question or say feature request.
But anyway thanks for reply.
