I start up sandboxie and steam only to see that sandboxie is reading my normal directorys having my games already installed etc.
Usually before it used to make a "Isolated" Container/directory where I had to install the games again which I need in this case.
But now it just reads my normal directory and prevents me from using sandboxie as I wish.
Is there anyfix for this?

Re: Sandboxie and steam
Hello Moze,
If you are running an application Sandboxed, the Sandbox will see its files and use them but won't modify them in the host.
You can set a different location for your Steam Games, check this steam forum link:
https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/ ... 662410657/
If you want to block Sandboxie from accessing your Steam Games installation folder, you can do so by adding this (however, you will need to set a new library location or games won't install).
Right click on your Sandbox--> Sandbox Settings ---> Resource Access -->File Access --> Blocked Access
Add your current Steam game location folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps )
After that, launch Steam in the Sandbox and follow the steps provided above to add a new location for games to be installed inside the Sandbox.
Regards,
Barb.-
