Re: Blue Screen of Death - Win 7 x64 + Sbie 5.23.3
The DMP shows exactly where the error is coming from. But I don't see how Sandboxie is getting into this state. This is a section of code that has not changed in the entire 5 years that Invincea/Sophos has owned the code. And we've never had a crash reported in this section. The only difference is 5.23.3 is compiled in Visual Studio 2015 and 5.22 was compiled under VS 2010.
I assume you switched to 5.23.3 because of the Meltdown KB.

- Were you using 5.22 before? Did this ever happen in 5.22?
- Did it immediately start happening after installing 5.23.3?
- Does it happen every time?
- Is there another machine you can test on?
Re: Blue Screen of Death - Win 7 x64 + Sbie 5.23.3
In 5.22 the problem has appeared not at once. The BSOD was occurring through some quite long time after launch of programs in a sandbox. Later BSOD was occurring at once after launch of any program in a sandbox.
In 5.23.3 BSOD occurring at once after launch of any program in a sandbox.
-----------MERGED POST -------------------
BSOD began to appear more often after installation some of the Windows updates.
KB915597, KB890830, KB4054518, KB915597, KB4055532, KB890830, KB4056894.
Perhaps and earlier updates...

Re: Blue Screen of Death - Win 7 x64 + Sbie 5.23.3
Hello Dimoks,
Can you please create a new Sandbox called "box1" and see if the problem occurs there as well?
What type of applications are you launching?
Is there any Antivirus /security software installed?
Can you please provide your Sandboxie configuration file?
Configure--> Edit Configuration
Copy/paste the contents in your response.
Regards,
Barb.-
