5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.04 RC)

After updating to Windows 10 last month, my Sandboxie wouldn't work, so I uninstalled and went with beta 5.01.7. Everything worked fine. After the September 8 Windows update, I found I could not open Windows Explorer (File Explorer). I got a pop up.

Also got this same error message after installing beta 5.02 today. I think everything else works normally.
Can anyone suggest anything?

Yes, a Windows Update has broken Explorer in SBIE. A fix is being worked on at this time.

When I still used Win10 there was a problem with right click in sandboxed explorer. If I remember well the window was hanging or crashing every time.

Well, the Sept 8th cumulative update surely broke it for sure now...anything search wise related to Windows Explorer isn't working.

shows up when you copy some text from sandboxed Word 2010 and close it. I had this on Win10 too

Alright. There might be some new interactions on how things talk to the clipboard. I'll mention it to Curt.

Hmm, I just ran Cyberfox v40.0.3 in 8.1\64...no issue. Installed on the host and ran SB. Are you on 8.1 or Win10?

I wonder if that has anything to do with hardware acceleration. I used to not get that error, and that was the only thing I can remember changing. Do you have that enabled?

I'm on windows 10, so I don't hgave IE. But with Chrome I don't get that error.

Also sometimes a SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Win32Init.5 (00000000) and SBIE2205 Service not implemented: GdiInit.C0000017 with Firefox 40.0.3 (W10 build 10240/beta 5.01.13).

The SBIE2205 message may have nothing to do with Win 10, or SB 5.xx
I've started getting it on Win 8.1 and SB 4.20 every time that I try to run a sandboxed Windows Explorer:
Run Sandboxed > Run Windows Explorer

SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Win32Init.5 (00000000)
SBIE2205 Service not implemented: GdiInit.C0000017

It may have resulted from a Windows Update.

It's OK under Vista x32, though.
