Running in a VM I have the latest beta working with FF and Emsisoft's EIS
Re: Anti-Virus programs SBIE Beta v5 & Win 10 (working/not)
What will this mean to me as a long term KIS user; and have you tested 2016 which I believe is a beta but is available now?Craig@Invincea wrote:Tested w/ SBIE Beta v5.01.4 and Win10x64 (not installed into a sandbox)(Standard install, standard options/scanning & browser extensions)
NOT Supported
Kaspersky Internet 2015
This is one of the main and best a-v programs. You HAVE to get Sandboxe working with it somehow IMO.

Re: Anti-Virus programs SBIE Beta v5 & Win 10 (working/not)
Craig, you can add Microsoft security essentials to the list of antiviruses that work well with SBIE. I called a couple of friends that are using SBIE whom I also installed MSE for them, and they tell me all is well. Thats one antivirus that never has issues with SBIE. I think you can also add Avast. Otherwise, we would be seeing right this moment many issue reports.

Thanks Bo. Will do.
Re: Anti-Virus programs SBIE Beta v5 & Win 10 (working/not)
Avira Antivirus works fine with Sandboxie without comodo so that should probably be added to the list of working software.
not sure if this is the right place to put firewalls but:
5.01.6 is not working with comodo 8.2.0.4674 on windows 10. Whenever I try to start the web browser, nothing comes up.
even going to run any program, nothing is showing up. when i uninstalled comodo is works just fine.

Re: Anti-Virus programs SBIE Beta v5 & Win 10 (working/not)
I can confirm this incompatibility. Neither disabling all components of the COMODO firewall, closing the GUI or adding rules to the HIPS that give all Sandboxie process total access do any change. Uninstalling is the only option, even before a reboot, Sandboxie functions are revived and programs launch normally under its supervision.
