Post by Silver0066 » Thu Oct 17, 2013 8:04 pm

I get the following error message every time I close chome:

SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtCreateProcessEx (212)
SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtCreateProcessEx (212)
SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtCreateProcessEx (212)

No problem in Firefox 24 or IE 11.

I can confirm this issue on Windows 8.1 64-bit. Try using another browser for now if the message bothers you. I will just tolerate it until tzuk fixes it. He usually fixes bugs pretty quickly with beta versions.

Which version of Chrome is that? I don't think I saw such an error when I tested Chrome 30.0.1588.0 on Windows 8.1. (Or maybe it was 28.0.1500.71, I'm not sure, sorry.)

It was on Chrome 30.0.1599.101. I get the error every time after closing Chrome.

Also having this issue at closing chrome via sandboxie.

Chrome surfs fine for me though. I get the sandboxie error popups and windows error when closing the browser.

I get the errors when attempting to start thunderbird 24.0.1
Now what is odd I have 2 local non-administrator accounts on my computer. Thunderbird works sandboxed from one of the accounts but not the other. Any suggestions?

Get same, but saving downloaded files fails

Post by RetiredComputerGuy » Sat Oct 19, 2013 12:08 am

Get same error codes utilizing both 32 and 64 Windows 8.1. I consider this just a minor problem during program termination. The real problem is that in order to save downloaded files you must bring up Sandboxie control panel and save through that. Really depended on the automatic display of directories to save (from Chrome). This really worked out well with email games.

Chrome version does not exactly matter... stable, beta and dev (32.0.1671.4 dev-m Aura SyzyASan) channels behave all the same, one or more processes crash on close.

OK, Chrome now closes silently again with 4.07.01 even with LastPass installed; I guess the WerFault.exe workaround worked then. :)

I got the error message mentioned before SBEI 2205 when I start iexplore in the sandbox.

The message box iexlorer - Application Error

the instruction at 0x5eb5ffe7 referenced memory at 0x00000001. The memory could not be written.
Click on OK to terminate the program

Firefox works fine

Any idea?

Here the SBIE2205 message still happening on Chrome over 4.07 beta.

System:
CHROME Version 30.0.1599.101 m
Windows 8.1 Pro x64
Sandboxie 4.07 x64

PS: I noticed that the SBIE2205 message only happens when the Dashlane extension is enabled on Google Chrome. When I disabled this extension, the message does not happen.
Dashlane is a password manager, and I read above that other users had the same problem with Lastpass.
So, I think this message is related to the password managers extensions, in general.

I even can't install Chrome, shortly after I start the Installer I get the NtCreateProcessEx (2672) error Message and the installer closes.
