My use case for Sandboxie isn't to protect myself from malware but rather to make it so I can easily install programs, transfer the whole installation package (including configuration) to another computer, and remove the application when done without it leaving traces all over my system. I create a new sandbox for each application and install the application inside of Sandboxie and run it via the sandbox every time.
However, there are a number of applications that don't do well with inside of Sandboxie (particularly dev tools) and I suspect that it could be a bunch of the other sandboxing features that Sandboxie has _besides_ file and registry redirection. Is it possible to disable the other features and only proxy file IO and registry IO through Sandboxie?
Example applications are things like `git`, `nodejs`, `VSCode`, etc. I'm not worried about these applications doing harm to my PC, but I do want them isolated so I can easily move them around to other devices and delete them cleanly when I don't need them anymore or want to upgrade.
Possible to run Sandboxie in "registry and file protection only" mode?

Hello Micah71381,
Sandboxie isolation works in a specific way, find more info below:

Also, here are some related threads that might help:

As a suggestion, you may want to try a VM instead.
