Install 2 or more programs under the same sandbox
Run as administrator inside Sandbox
Does a program that runs as adminstrator that is inside a sandbox can leap outside and overwrite some files outside of the sandbox?
Ok. I thought that way could help people that had the same problem. Now everything is just confused. But for me its fine, I know my questions and I already have learn from your answers.tzuk wrote:dan_san_1, you don't have to open a new topic for every new question. Having your topics take over half the first page is not very considerable towards other people. Any follow up questions that you have, please post in this topic.
Regarding running a program with admin privileges:
2.How to put an app to run as with admin privileges inside a sandbox (the proper way)?
Delete Contents of sandbox
Does Delete Contents of a sandbox really deletes all the files of a sandbox or does it leave some (for example some system files)? Without exception?
Will it be the same as having a new sandbox?

You can see for yourself by examining the folders underneath C:\Sandbox\(user)\ using an unsandboxed Windows Explorer, both before and then after using Delete Contents.
Just don't leave Windows Explorer open to that folder while you use Delete Contents, because Explorer will have a lock on the folder and it will not be deleted.

Why don't you answer my questions anymore?
I post the questions in other topics and you just delete it.
I have 2 questions in the post behind this one. Would apreciate an answer.

Did you said this to be easier to ignore me?tzuk wrote:dan_san_1, you don't have to open a new topic for every new question. Having your topics take over half the first page is not very considerable towards other people. Any follow up questions that you have, please post in this topic.

Yes. I don't have to justify to you why I want any program to run inside sandbox. I don't know what you are implying with that, so I ask you why do you need a justification to answer my question?
Here they are:
2)How to put an app to run with admin privileges inside a sandbox (the proper way)?
3)How to disable run as admin from an app that is set to run as admin, and "lives" inside a sandbox (was installed inside a sandbox)?

First you are absolutely right, you don't have to justify anything to me, or anyone else. I asked as I suspected others are wondering the same thing.dan_san_1 wrote:Yes. as to your questions. 2). I've never bothered as I've never seen any reason to install anything in a sandbox. If I truly want to do that I use a Virtual Machine. So I don't know the answer to your question
3) Again don't know as I've never had a reason to bother. I run my system with Admin rights and use Appguard to provide that kind of protection.
Bottom line is if you want someone to answer your questions, you might have to provide justification as to why the should expend the effort. Attitude!

program in sandbox needs a file outside sandbox
Hi,
I am running a program in a sandbox, I get an error message saying that a file is not accessible. That file is in a subdir outside of my sandbox and is apparently not accessible to the sandboxed program. I believe the needed file must stay where it is in App Data because the program is looking for it there.
Any Ideas???
Thanks,
Rich j
