[.12] SbieCtrl.exe crash when opening Foobar in Sandboxie

Post by King Grub » Sun Sep 29, 2013 9:37 am

Sandboxie 4.04

Windows 7 x64 Home Premium

When using restricted Start/Run access settings (I only let my browser run in the sandbox), and testing what happens when you try to run programs that aren't allowed to run in the sandbox, I found that running the Foobar executable http://www.foobar2000.org/getfile/d0f51 ... v1.2.9.exe after having put it in the sandbox makes SbieCtrl.exe crash with the following error:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: SbieCtrl.exe
Application Version: 4.4.0.0
Application Timestamp: 51daa260
Fault Module Name: ntdll.dll
Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.18229
Fault Module Timestamp: 51fb164a
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 000000000003076a
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1053
Additional Information 1: 5261
Additional Information 2: 5261497c0de6f3305c0cd092aa569670
Additional Information 3: 3506
Additional Information 4: 35061099ccb780f80ea63c4c2a406621

Any other program I have tried to open in the sandbox gives the proper message from Sandboxie, that it can't start because it is restricted, but running the Foobar executable makes SbieCrtl.exe crash.

Thanks. I am seeing the problem even in the later beta version 4.05.11. I will check it out.
