LibreOffice - Clipboard MetaFile Error on exit

Hey guys,

I have installed LibreOffice 4.3.5.2 in a sandbox using Sandboxie 4.15.9 on Windows 8.1 x64.

When I use the Calc application to work with tables and copy & paste some cells I get the following error when I quit the application:

SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Clipboard MetaFile (fmt 0003 sz 24)

Do you have some hint how I can resolve this "issue"?

Hi Scarid, I am using Libre portable 4.3.2.2 in W7. I can copy and paste with no issue.

I suggest you manually delete the sandbox if you don't have it set to be done automatically. Or, create a new sandbox to run Cal in it..

I have installed LibreOffice inside a sandbox. Nevertheless I have cleared the sandbox and reinstalles LibreOffice. But unfortunately the problem persist. Maybe it just occurs with Windows 8.1 x64.

Yep, most of the current problems faced are on a running Windows 8.1 x64 OS.

Scarid, if you hide the message, ignore it and Calc still works fine, I would just hide it and forget about it.

You could also try the portable version, install it out of the sandbox, if you dont like it all you have to do is delete its folder. About a year ago, I remember, after doing a reset to factory in my W7, after reinstalling Libre portable, for some reason there were errors. At the time, I stopped using the program for a few months and when I tried it back, it was once again working great under SBIE.

So, I recommend, do the Hide thing or try the portable version.

You are welcome, Scarid. I do the same (hide a message) for the very very old version of KMPlayer that I use iin my XP. For W7, I dont hide any messages.

To reproduce just copy text from sandboxed MS Word 2010 and close it.

I know this was an older post, the user seemed to be using a old version of SBIE as well..
Just tested in Win10/64 using SBIE v5.06.
Wordpad = No issues with Cut and paste.
Libre Office v5 = used Calc no issues w/ cut and paste...and cut and paste from Calc to Writer, etc.

Did not test Office and I have 365 @ home and that does not work with SBIE.

Word, excel, outlook and powerpoint 2016 work inside SBIE.

Note: Excel doesn't open files directly. You need to open excel and then browse to the file you want.
