sandboxed browser downloads [SOLVED]

Hi, I have a quick question about downloads:

Let's say I download an executable installation file in a sandboxed browser. If I open/run the file from the browser, will it also run in a sandboxed environment?

I know it sounds like a silly question, but I just want to be sure because I'm pretty sure it's not safe.

Hello gomyr,

Applications opened via a Sandboxed application will run inside the same Sandbox.

If you want to be extra cautious, navigate to the file's location, right-click on it and select "Run Sandboxed".

Thank you, this was very helpful. Especially the part about opening a separate sandbox specifically for the purpose of running antivirus/antimalware on a file before taking it out of sandbox.
