On this computer, problem installing Windows updates (NET Frame) on Win7 64, EIS would lock up, after this update it was fine.
My other computer (win7x64 same set-up except SBIE) worked. I guess this new update fixed the problem. Thanks. :D

How are you reproducing the error? Are there any specific websites involved?
Do you have any addons installed?

Is there anyone who has this issue? What can I do to find out the cause?

Hey Dun,
What can I do to find out the cause?
Since the issue happens randomly, you need to start narrowing it down.
Here are some suggestions:

1- Start disabling your extensions and see if the issue stops.
2 - Test a new Sandbox with default settings.
3 - Create a new Firefox profile and see if the problem occurs there.
4 - Try to see if certain websites are more likely to trigger the issue than others .
5- Randomly, open the Resource Access Monitor, see if you can capture the error.
6- If you have an antivirus, disable it and/or remove any browsers protection.

Once you have more info, please start a new thread so that we can better assist you.

Regards,
Barb.-

no firefox problem, for sure.

you need to determine the source for "nod_scriptmon_pipe" then you have your culprit.
have you ESET installed? it is so called "nod" in older versions and "scriptmon" could be the web protection.

ah, there you go with "ESET SS 10+ x64"

PS are you using flash with firefox x64? there are known problems and i dont think they are solved in sandboxie ;)
have yo tried to reproduce with firefox x86?

Ok, thanks I will check those suggestions out.
No, I'm not using flash.

It is impossible to drag and drop pdf file on sandboxed Firefox. The browser will not open a file.
Works fine outsite of SBIE

5.20 Release Candidate has been released.

It is the same code as 5.19.5. Just different version #'s.

Hi,

Thanks for your dev efforts.

I have an "issue" to report. Why is it that I keep getting the error message "SBIE2205 Service not implemented: DDE DATA" when using firefox 53.0.3 sandboxed (under Sandboxie 5.19.5) when copying text into Windows clipboard, by selecting and pressing Ctrl+C? This "problem" has persisted in previous versions of Sandboxie since long past.

Regards.

Hello MCHAL ,

Have a look at these:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18422&hilit=BIE220 ... A+DDE+DATA
search.php?keywords=SBIE2205+Service+no ... A+DDE+DATA

If needed, reply to an existing thread and we can go from there. Sounds like this issue is not beta related (since you stated it has happened in the past).

Regards,
Barb.-

Just installed 5.20. In Firefox 53.0.3 (Win 7 64bit), printing to PDF file still does not work unless I use the workaround Barb mentioned elsewhere:

Code: Select all

OpenFilePath=C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Mozilla\temp-*
Was this issue supposed to be fixed with this release?

Hi, Barb:

Thanks for your support.

Unfortunately, I am afraid to report that, even with SB 5.20 release installed and running (Win10x64 up to date, 8GB RAM, NVidia GeForce GT 730), the problem persists when running Firefox 53.0.3 sandboxed.

Regards.
