Is possible to create a shotcut steam://rungameid/372000 inside sandiebox ? [SOLVED]

i wanna create a shortcut to open a game inside a program called steam.
My sandiebox is 5.2 registred version

the patch to the shortcut is steam://rungameid/372000, but everytime i try create a shotcut inside sandiebox it create the same patch so it does not work for steam inside sandiebox.

what kind patch i can create to open the game inside the steam in sandiebox ?

There is a program called steam: http://store.steampowered.com/ in this program you can download games to play.
Step 1: Open the program Steam inside sandiebox put your loguin and password.
Step 2: Open the program Steam without sandiebox put your loguin and password.
Step 3: Create a Desktop Shortcut inside the program Steam inside sandiebox.
Step 4: Create a Desktop Shortcut inside the program Steam without sandiebox

Step 5: if you open the Shortcut you created without sandiebox, it will open the game
Step 6: if you open the Shortcut you created with sandiebox, this will appear.

Step 7: Click on recovery
Step 8: it will create 2 diferents Shortcut but both open only the game in steam outside sandiebox
the Shortcut created inside sandiebox will not open with that shortcut created so i wanna know if is possible create a shotcut to open the game inside sandiebox

the patch //rungameid/372345, the number is related to the game i wanna play so i cant change i need a patch that recgonize the steam i put inside sandiebox

Hello Healt,

By recovering files, you are sending them outside of your Sandbox. Thus, any recovered file/application will open un-sandboxed. You can skip that [process by closing the Immediate recovery dialog.

You can use the link I sent before in order to create a shortcut in Sandboxie OR, open Windows Explorer Sandboxed, create the shortcut there and launch it (anything launched from a Sandboxed Windows Explorer will open inside Sandboxie).

Barb thanks so much for the fast reply but when i skip the Immediate Recovery it create a folder called desktop and inside that folder it create the file i wanted but when i try access this shortcut file it will open the steam outside sandiebox, if i send this file to the sandiebox i created it will work but if i close the game and click in the shotcut again it will open the game outside sandiebox.

All i wanna is a shortcut that i could access fast to open the game inside sandiebox.

i wanna open the game inside the sandiebox and outside sandiebox at same time.

Here are some options that you can try:

- Create a shortcut using the steps I provided before:

Sandboxie Control ---> Configure ---> Windows Shell Integration
Click "Add Shortcut icons"
Follow the steps and navigate to the location of your game to create a shortcut that will only launch in the selected Sandbox.
[To find where your game is installed right-click on your game in Steam --> Properties ---> Local Files --> Browse Local Files... ]

- Use Windows Explorer Sandboxed (right-click on your Sandbox --> Run Sandboxed ---> Run Windows Explorer), navigate to the desired location and open the game that way.

- Launch Steam in Sandboxie, so that you can start the game directly from a sandboxed Steam session.

-Drag the non-sandboxed shortcut into Sandboxie control.
