hi,
just wanted to ask some questions before i download a trial...
1. does sandboxie need to run from start up, could i disable the processes or services on startup and manually start them when i need sandboxie? I have a slow PC.
1b. if so how? as i have asked someone who uses sandboxie and they said no.
2. does sandboxie install drivers or anything that could conflict with i dont no say burning dvds or blu rays or possibly corrupt data or something?
2b.if so please explain?
3. if i download a app or jpg and it has a virus or something in it, if i run it in sandboxie will the virus be locked in sandboxie and not able to escape to the host OS?
4. does sandboxie block internet connections to apps running in sandboxie?
thx

Re: Noob Questions
Hello dux,
1) You can choose to disable Sandboxie from the startup. Please see this entry:
https://www.sandboxie.com/ConfigureMenu#shell
2) Sandboxie installs its own drivers, we have a known conflicts section for your review:
https://www.sandboxie.com/KnownConflicts
I strongly recommend that you review our FAQ section to better understand what is Sandboxie and how does it interact with your system :
https://www.sandboxie.com/HelpTopics
3) That's the purpose of Sandboxie, to isolate files and programs so that they cannot modify your host. Here's a related thread with further info:
